There is not such thing as a story. When a guy comes to you and says “Let me tell you a story”, it’s clear that every thing that goes out his mouth is, even if fake or false, a fact.
if it’s a STORY about him (true or not) or about an imaginary friend (not hypothetical), that STORY is just a fact after an other. those exact things did happened at least once in the human evolution – so by this, they are facts.
A story is more of a document with historical information, really.
